Hussein Berri is the leader of the firm’s transactional department. Mr. Berri focuses his practice in the areas of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, entity formation, and commercial purchase and lease agreements. He assists entities and indivduals with cannabis licensing in Michigan and other states. Mr. Berri has experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial, employment, services and vendor contracts. Mr. Berri also represents indivduals and entities in real estate and business litigation.

Mr. Berri is a dean’s scholar and cum laude graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law. While there, he served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Judge David Allen in the Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan. Prior to the founding of Berri Azakir, Mr. Berri was an associate attorney at Plunkett Cooney, where he represented large corporations in a variety of matters.
